Charlize Theron Speak Foreign Languages

When a reporter inquired as to why the ex-boy band singer was sticking his big toe in the acting pool, Kunis shot back, asking "What sort of question is that? Why are you here?" Not only is it admirable that the hot starlet jumped to her buddy's defense, it's was most fascinating to hear her do it in Russian. Many of her fans may not realize that she was born in the Ukraine and English is her second language.

Some were born outside the United States and speak another language, while others learned foreign languages in school. While none of us are surprised to hear that stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, America Ferrara or Jean-Claude Van Damme speak a language other than English, others may surprise you.Kim Cattrall is best known for playing the role of saucy Samantha Jones in the "Sex and the City" TV shows and movies. Many fans do not know that the actress speaks fluent German. During the 1980s, she was married to her second husband, Andre J. Lyson. During the course of their relationship, the couple lived in Frankfurt.

He also has proven that he has a knack for mastering a foreign language. When the sports superstar was just a lad, his dad uprooted the family and moved them to Italy in pursuit of his own basketball career. While frolicking on the playgrounds in Italy, the future LA Laker learned speak Italian.Unlike Cattrall and Bryant, English is a second language to Charlize Theron, not the first. The "Monster" star was born in South Africa, and her first words were uttered in Afrikaans. She didn't learn English until she was a teenager, acquiring a mastery of the language watching American TV shows. Interesting fact.

Many Japanese language courses while attending school. After graduation, the star of "The Incredible Hulk" moved to Osaka, Japan to work as a consultant for his grandfather's business. While not 100% fluent, the actor doesn't seem like he'll ever have a problem ordering saki and sashimi on his next East Asian excursion.Jodie Foster attended a fancy French-language prep school, eventually graduating as her class' valedictorian. Thanks to her education, she is now fluent in French and speaks it perfectly without an accent.

Charlize Theron was born on 7th August 1975, in rural Benoni, South Africa, to co-owners of a road construction company, Charles and Gerda. The Afrikaans-speaking family lived on a working farm outside of Johannesburg, and although Theron's childhood chores included tending livestock, her passion for dance became evident early on. To foster her artistic leanings, Theron began ballet lessons at age six.

As Charles struggled with alcoholism, he became physically abusive. In 1991, when Theron was 15, her father violently attacked her and her mother. Theron watched as Gerda shot and killed Charles; the murder was deemed an act of self-defense, and Gerda was never charged with a crime. In the wake of the death, Gerda assumed ownership of the company, and Theron concocted the long-standing story.

In 1994, a destitute Theron argued with a bank teller, who refused to allow her to pull funds from a South African account. Theron's subsequent fit earned the attention of a fellow bank patron John Crosby, a Hollywood manager who represented talent including John Hurt and Rene Russo. He immediately offered to sign Theron and, within months, she made her acting debut in a small role in Children of the Corn III (1995).

The Cider House Rules with Tobey Maguire. In 2001, she reteamed with Reeves for the tearjerker Sweet November, and two years later she starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the heist thriller The Italian Job (2003). However, her performance in 2003's Monster—a biopic about serial killer Aileen Wuornos—earned her widespread respect. Theron gained close to 40 pounds for the role, and her gritty, gripping performance won her both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

Rihanna says"I Like Bizarre Clothes"

Rihanna has become one to watch on the red carpet. The 23-year-old definitely knows how to snag the spotlight, whether she's wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo suit (like she did to the 2009 Met Gala) or a see-through Jean-Paul Gaultier gown (like she wore to this year's Grammy Awards). So what inspires her crazy sense of style? The "Umbrella" singer tells all in the September issue of Glamour.

However, Rihanna, who just two-and-a-half years ago was at the center of a domestic violence scandal with then-boyfriend Chris Brown, says she often feels pressured to be perfect for her younger fans. "I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life.... I feel like pop stars can't be rock stars anymore because they have to be role models, and it takes the fun out of it for us, because we just want to have fun with art."

Katy Perry hot and sexy photo gallery

Katy Perry was born on 25th October 1984, in Santa Barbara, California. Known for her over-the-top fashions, quirky stage props, and catchy songs, Katy Perry has become a pop music sensation.Fans might be surprised to learn that the singer who writes about sexual exploration in "I Kissed a Girl" grew up in a very conservative family.

Both of her parents are pastors, and they refused to let her listen to any rock or popular music. "The only things I was allowed to listen to were the Sister Act 1 and 2 soundtracks," Perry told Entertainment Weekly. Perry started taking singing lessons around the age of 9 and learned to play guitar when she was 13. Around this time, she began rebelling against her strict upbringing by piercing her own nose.

She was exposed to other musical influences. One friend introduced her to the music of Queen, which remains one of her favorite groups. "I'm very inspired by Freddie Mercury and how flamboyant and theatrical he was," she told fashion magazine WWD. In high school, she strove to be her own person, choosing not to limit herself to one social group.

She said the single was inspired by the emo scene, and the "guys with guy-liner who use flatirons." Still, her career did not fully take off until the release of her next single, "I Kissed a Girl," which reached the top of the charts during the summer of 2008. With that song's success, her debut album, One of the Boys, made it into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also earned Perry a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

"The Change-Up" Monday night, and John Stamos posts some pics of himself and Nick Jonas rehearsing for their Hollywood Bowl production of the Broadway musical "Hairspray."

Sandra Bullock Biography
Actress. Born Sandra Annette Bullock on July 26, 1964, in Arlington, Virginia. In the 1990s, Bullock established herself as a marketable leading lady in a series of comedy and action films.

Born on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., to a German opera singer and a voice teacher, Bullock grew up largely on the road. She studied music and dance while she traveled throughout Europe, and made her first stage appearance at the age of 5 in a small role for an opera in Nuremburg, Germany. The performance helped her to develop a love of the stage, and she began appearing regularly in the Nuremburg children's choir. When Bullock was 12, her family moved back to the D.C. area, where she attended Washington-Lee High School. Bullock had no problem fitting in, becoming involved in cheerleading and school theater productions until her graduation in 1982. Bullock then enrolled in East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, to study acting, but left college only three credits shy of her bachelor's degree. Instead, she moved to New York in 1986 to pursue acting in earnest. She joined the Neighborhood Playhouse Theatre, where she took acting classes, and supported herself with waitressing and bartending work.

Bullock landed her first gig at the age of 21 in an off-Broadway production of No Time Flat. Bullock used the critical acclaim for her role in the play, to land an agent. But Bullock's early acting jobs, which included bit parts in TV movies and B-movies, were unsuccessful and sometimes embarrassing. She made a short run as Tess McGill on the ill-fated NBC sitcom Working Girl (based on the hit movie of the same name), followed by a co-starring role in the romantic comedy Love Potion No. 9 (1992). In 1993, Bullock replaced Lori Petty in the futuristic Sylvester Stallone vehicle Demolition Man, but critics largely panned the film as "incoherent" and "one-dimensional." It was in the box-office hit Speed (1994), that Bullock first earned widespread recognition. Playing opposite Keanu Reeves, Bullock's plucky performance helped propel the commercial success of what was an otherwise generic action feature.

In the mid-1990s, Bullock appeared in steady stream of big-budget productions of varying commercial success. While films like While You Were Sleeping (1995), The Net (1995), and A Time to Kill (1996) performed well, others such as Two If By Sea (1996) and Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997), were box-office flops. In an attempt to expand her dramatic range, Bullock appeared as an alcoholic newspaper columnist sent to rehab, in 28 Days (2000). The film, a mix of dark comedy and melodrama, received tepid reviews, although her comedy Miss Congeniality did well at the box office that same year. After a brief hiatus, Bullock returned in early 2002 with Murder by Numbers, a crime thriller in which she plays a detective responsible for tracking down a duo of thrill-killers. She also appeared in a film version of the best-selling novel The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and Two Weeks' Notice, a romantic comedy co-starring Hugh Grant.
